About Us

Mohra Sharif is a great spiritual centre with origins in the Naqshbandi tareeqat. It is the home of the Naqshbandia Mujaddadiya Qasmia sufi order. Mohra Sharif is located in the hills of Murre,Panjab, approximately 50 kilometres west away from Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.

It was made into a spiritual centre by Ghous/e/Zaman Ala Hazrat BabaJi Khawaja Muhammad Quasim Sadiq (RA) in 1263 AH. Babaji’s ancestors had migrated from Iran and settled in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Baba ji’s 120 year of life forms a proud chapter of Islamic Renaissance in the region of Asia. He spent 80 years in the rememberance of Allah by doing zikr and practicing the great sunnah of our beloved prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He had appointed 3500 Khalifas to propagate the true message of Islam; Love, Peace and Harmony amongst humanity.

BabaJi passed away on the 20th November in 1943 leaving behind millions of disciples and devotees. After his departure from the world, his son and Khalifa, Khawaja Gharib Nawaz Pir Muhammad Zahid Khan, Ghazi/e/Khashmir. He was known as Pir Khan Sahib (RA). He was loved and respected by millions of mureeds of Mohra Sharif. His eldest son was Pir Aftab Ahmed Qasmi who was highly qualified and spoke many languages including fluent English. He first visited the UK in 1970 and was well loved, humble and had a simple personality. He passed away in 1992. Following this, Pir Aftab’s eldest son, Pir Jahan Zeb Badshah Qasmi became the sajade nasheen of Mohra Sharif. His 3 younger siblings Pir A Aurangzeb Badshah Qasmi, Pir Dr Shahzada Fazeel Ayaz Qasmi, Pir Riffat Mahmood are all travelling all over the world to propagate the message of Islam.

They have many Islamic and community centres running all over the world, known as Qasmia Zahidia Centre’s. Mohra Sharif. In the UK, the centre is located at 20 Villa Road, Oldham, Manchester. The aim of this centre is to invite lovers of Islam to make ourselves shine with the love of our Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The doors of Mohra Sharif Masjid, on Villa Road, have been open to everyone since _____, under the supervision of Pir Jahan Zeb Badshah Qasmi and Pir Dr Shahzada Fazeel Ayaz Qasmi – the Custodians of Mohra Sharif Masjid and Qasmia Zahidia Islamic Centre.
